Was a bit weird to see the article in the paper today when it was announced by the club about two weeks ago and most people knew the decision about a month ago. Strange that it only came out now.

Northam , he would want to be careful in that town these days or he could get killed . The joint is worse than Afghanistan at the moment with a full on war going on between a couple of aboriginal groups . Be careful Leon , reckon you would be safer in the slums of Collingwood mate .

I believe has cited family reasons for leaving the Perth Football Club.
Apparently Davis is living in Northam and has told Perth he is not interested in playing on at WAFL level. Perth spokes-person Marty Atkins said the door remained open for Davis to play again this season but the reality was that family commitments had become his priority.
