Kicking from both teams was crap, strange because it was fine with not much breeze. You blokes had a dip but couldn't buy a goal.

That's what we want. Having a red hot go every week is what this, and any sport, is all about. Get the attitude right and maintain it consistently and you can hold your head high. It's 90% above the shoulders. Chuck in one or two blokes who know where the goals are and success on the scoreboard could be not too far away.

Yep spot on, the effort was there yesterday but the skill level was abysmal - by both sides. Subi had some excuse coming off the bye but our over use of the handball just killed us. Solid debut by Scott Doncon, well done young fella, and Ashley Boyes showed a bit across half forward. Just nothing to aim for in that forward line.

McKenna looked like he copped a solid corky in the reserves.

And a great win by the colts boys with heaps of regulars out after letting Subi kick the first four goals. Chapman Jones again dominant and Cody Ninyette was an excitement machine and kicked two ripper goals. One to keep an eye on. Liked the look of Aaron Breman too for Subi. Looks exactly like his old man.

McKenna also got reported in the Reserves, I am guessing a reprimand

Can anyone confirm why McKenna played Ressies?
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

Thought the Ressies boys who came in Boyes, Doncon and Edmonds all offered something over the day, and all are worthy of another game next week. One thing I have liked is that Earl Spalding is giving the young blokes a chance, 3 games in a row to allow them to settle in, eg Tanner, Ransted, Leggett, Chester
