DF, we saw the FM at the footy today. Hopefully he can use his PR skills to entice a few handy recruits our way and a top 5 spot is a possibility.

I was walking in the gates when Billings was reported and didn't see it. Can someone let us know their opinion on it? Is he gone? Is he being unfairly singled out? Hugely improved player for mine.

Would be nice if Chance could remain injury free. Loved his torp that resulted in a chaos ball and a goal.

Where was Collard today ?

Ranstead did show some fight in the second half but Mitch Morton should be a good replacement there.

Stack still needs some meanness about him.

Florio did ok.

Mckenna, White and Tropiano starting to look good. the Wolf finding his straps I hope.

Those young backmen whose name I don't know reminding me a little of Sinclair from 3 years ago.

No 10 good and Power continuing to improve.

Fantastic to see the enjoyment of Tropiano singing the club song on the clubs Facebook page. BTW don't forget to like the official page people B)
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

That was a tremendous win today. To come back from nearly 5 goals down half way through the second quarter showed great character. They ran over Claremont in that last quarter just like Earl said they would at 3/4 time. Gee its good having a coach who knows how to structure up a team and isn't afraid to try things like sending Johnson forward early and Sully back in that last quarter. He identified shutting down Tate as the go to guy out of the back line at 3/4 time and thats what they did.

Geez what we could be if we had a key forward to aim for like Claremont had in Darcy Cameron and Anton Hamp.

DD not sure the FM has any PR skills.
Yes great win today.
Maybe Claremont are in for a real shock.
A big slide.

Very happy we have moved on the football manager from last year. The grumpy bold guy with his arms folded standing near the pen - reckoned himself. Is the new one more charismatic DD?

DF I did re read your post and now understand your comment and see that your english is at least an intermediate level. I have simply asked you to adjust your language for the inebriated. Good Man.

Anyone source out Mc Mahon and thank him for the game? Good to see the combination that was at the Dee's is still achieving the same results. Work on the motto what goes around eventually comes around. Well done !

That was a great win by the kids.
If they keep their intensity they will learn and become more consistent.
Coaches can make a difference.
I looked at the Claremont names and I couldn't make.a case for us.
Well I was wrong.
Beware Claremont these phonies have no idea.
They may well do the same to them as they did to us.
Except I don't think Mossy, Marshall etc, will put up with them for too long.

For a squad dripping with talent - and they do have some spectacular youngsters from their zones in Petrevski-Seton, McAdam, Cameron etc - they play the most bizarre zig-zag game plan of trying to split teams open by lateral transfer. It didn't work at Lathlain and I reckon it won't work at Claremont either. Why in hell you'd faff around with the ball in your back half "horse-shoeing" it when you've got Bradley, Hamp and Cameron in that forward line is beyond belief.

My dream is that McMahon moves on to Subi next and brings them back to the field.

I fear that Billings may be on the brink of being lost to WAFL footy. That hit on Plant yesterday was vicious and unnecessary. It might have got a cheer in 1976 but not now. It was a selfish act. This club desperately needs his experience and talent. I'm spewing he put himself in the firing line again unnecessarily.

And if there were 800 there yesterday then I reckon 500 of them were Demon supporters!
