The people that are up for re-election would it only be their portfolios that are up for grabs or once the results of the election are known then all the portfolios are up for grabs?

The election is for the Board.
The President would normally have the major say in what porfolios each would have.

Only certain people on the board DF. If you go to the clubs website and cluck on the board there are a couple f more names on there. I would assume that these people are still serving their current term, hence why they have not been put up for re-election and will be there in 2015.

Mr Afl. Directors are elected for 2 years I believe with terms alternating so that some retire this year and others retire next year. Somewhat similar to the Federal Senate elections which are 6 years with half retiring this year and the rest in 3 years.

Cheers for that Smokey. So I think the only two Directors not up for re-election are Daryle Mann and Rod Basel. Is it possible that there portfolios could change next year? If Len Gandini gets the nod then is there a possibility that he could become the director of football pr is Daryle locked in for that role until th end of next year?

Reading Len's bio from the election booklet it certainly sounds like he wants to be involved in the football side and work closely with Earl.

I think Steve Kargotich must still have a year to run?
And wasn't there one other Director?

Yes portfolios can be changed at any time.

I hope Len & Cathy have the backing of the board (President) in the election, they are talented newcomers IMHO.

I wonder if Len is Earl Spalding request?
We have to get rid of some of the non football hangers on.

No doubt that there should be a re-distribution of portfolios following the result of the ballot.
If Len Gandini is elected as I for one would expect then he should be given the Football Directorship. Darby and Smith, if re-elected, would probably keep their portfolios as would Dorazio most likely.
The shuffles will come with the remaining portfolios with, say, Cathy taking Sponsorship or Districts and Country.
