Matt Hunt was pretty good yesterday. He's another who will hopefully have a big preseason and go to another level next year.

Saw the presentation of what the new facilities will look like and it looks impressive. So for the meantime I suppose it's short term pain by playing at the showgrounds for long term gain with the new facilities.

And Dazzler wasn't the scoreboard the same one from Claremont Oval?

Kalazic. Hunt. Tropiano. All good. Loved the show grounds as a venue.

You could just about "copy and Paste" each weeks review of our games regardless of who's in our team.

What did you love about it? The fact that three quarters of the crowd can't see the scoreboard? The fkn mountains of scaffolding everywhere? The retirement village feel of it? Watching the players have to tramp to their cars still in their playing gear? The food van with the busted down fryer which ran out of water?

Claremont are too smart to let this fraud infect the club like he was allowed to do at Lathlain. If they needed any convincing they saw it yesterday. Smashed in the colts, competitive for only a half in the ressies and once again the customary fade out in the league. The club is on its knees. That's his legacy.

Claremont have the makings of a very good side - a dominant ruckman, plenty of nippy smalls to rotate through the middle, clever forwards like Hamp, Abbott and Bradshaw and an honest defence. Nearly all from their zones. Go figure.
