It's getting to that time of the year when AFL players either announce retirement or know they are going to be delisted. We have to act fast. Claremont by all reports have already secured Maister for next season.

What are the thoughts on Ash Smith. Does anyone think it would be a good idea to try and recruit him for next season. Also Sam Butler of course but I'm not sure he will be delisted. Personally I don't regard Smith as a main target. Also what points would he and Butler carry. Not home grown Perth players but both would have played close to 50 games for us.

Cesspit we should be having a serious crack at EP and Peel WAFL listed players of genuine league quality. Smith, Johnson, Lee, Aaron Sweet is one who has disappeared but can play.. Cruize Garlet is one from Peel we should target.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

I guess if Guerra gets the coaching gig, he could be your best recruit, I reckon the fella would know of a few Box Hill players looking for a change of scenery.......plus a few other potential recruits around the VFL etc

No on Smith and Butler is past his best and injury prone.

Quentin Lynch if delisted ( and i reckon he will be) by Collingwood maybe worth a go for a year or 2.
Any AFL delisting/retirement is worth a look.

Also agree at looking at quality players at EP and Peel that may not like there current set-up.

Good chance you'll get McInness back to clog up your forwardline.

30+ I reckon Butler at WAFL level, with his commitment to PFC would be a no brainer.
IMHO.

Hear what your saying but WAFL is not as demanding.
He's only 28-29?
Would cost us points though I guess.

Cruize Garlett running around with the Peel ressies, what a waste, his clearance work would instantly
improve us if he was in the red and black
