Chad Sandilands, (I know only a reserves player), prime example couldn't outrun me over 100 metres, let alone ruck. For f**k sake not even fit enough for reserves football let alone league. Along with most of the reserves squad.
Last time I ran that far, was about 30 years ago.

Sounds like you need Peter German as a coach..demands a AFL standard and commitment from part time players....will be coming over to Perth soon for a 10 year reunion..good chance to speak to him.

Good call but I'm not sure anyone at the PFC is bold enough to make a pitch for someone like German. I think Marty should organise a meeting with the two Steve's at the Dockers. They showed balls when the other clubs like Melbourne just accepted the usual lines pumped out by coaches and their management. You have to be bold and dare to pull off the unthinkable.

It's time for this club to be bold instead of taking safe easy options.

What happened to our strength and condition coach / midfield coach? Perhaps recruit him back, didn't Damo suggest our 'resurgence' (won two games on the trot) a couple of years back was due to his fitness regimes?
