And I agree Waterman is not the man for the PFC IMO. Still would prefer Harris and then Harvey.

Not that i don't rate them...i dont think they will return.
Julian Jacobs is ok...hes certainly no world beater.
Like i said i'd be more concerned about the likes of Bevan and Risol staying.

The only name being bandied about out there on Saturday was Harvey. No one I spoke to mentioned Waterman.

I suppose it depends who you spoke to Dazzler and how connected they are.
Was Harvey who they wanted (who you spoke to) or is he a bloke the club is definately chasing?
I have no idea other than whats posted here or in the media.

I spoke to half a dozen people - one wearing a suit - and it was all Harvey.

I didn't speak to Jeff Newman though, because I didn't see him there. That's because he might have been in the President's Lounge eating cucumber sandwiches and quaffing cups of tea from fine china.

And that crowd figure of 1300 approx. has to be wrong. I reckon it was the smallest crowd I've ever seen at Lathlain for a league fixture - half that number might be more accurate.

No worries although i dont know whether you can trust a bloke that wears a suit at the footy.

I have been saying for a while that the crowd figures are inflated.
The home game crowd numbers have been dropping off in big numbers for a while, wait till the Peel game, will be lucky to get 800 for that one.

Agree he probably isn't going to win the Sandover but he offers a lot to the team whether it is through the middle or doing a job down back.

Bevan has struggled this year without the support that he had last season. Would love to see him go on next year with a new coach, different regime and some new recruits to offer support.

Risol is a very good key defender and that has had his injury problems this year and the club would find it hard to replace him given the fact we haven't had that many decent key defenders over the years.

I can assure you there is no fine china in the sponsor's lounge.
No cucumber sandwiches just some bikkies.
And you get your won Tea/Coffee.

I don't watch the footy from the Lounge but I buy a drink at the bar at half time.
Even sneak a bikkie.

Dazz, I think there is little doubt that Harvey is on the radar and IMO he could be as good as we could get given the doubt as to whether or not Harris is interested..
I only spoke with one person concerning the coaching position. He is pretty close to the know and often comes up trumps but he could not offer much other than to say Harvey is a possible and that Brett Guerra and Austin Jones have registered interest in the job.
I can't get excited about those two.

Hi DF: I can see what you mean about the attitude of the board, let us hope it continues. I wish the PFC well -- your a chance against my lot. We beat you in the last round, but I am sure it is the first time we had won against the Demons for a couple of years. We could not beat the PFC under Waterman at all.
