We are all getting upset because a Dockers player got a reprimand at the WAFL tribunal, nearly everyone with a good record gets a reprimand at the WAFL tribunal. Well except Sylvia that dirty dirty Dockers player.

But if you want to keep the tin foil hats on and think the only reason Morabito got off was because Fremantle put the pressure on then go for your life.

Did Morabito get it downgraded to a reprimand or was it thrown out? Looked like two players going for the ball and they collided. The AFL has to be very careful where they draw the line here. Otherwise it will turn into touch football.

That's what is so confusing DD. If Morabito had his eyes on the ball and it was an accident then why was Fyfe suspended for virtually the same thing.

Because Fyfe opted to go for the bump instead of the smother / tackle..

Why are we comparing the AFL tribunal decisions and the WAFL tribunal decisions?

Because surely what happens across all levels of the game should be the same Barney.......especially wihen it comes to what the players can and cant be punished for on the footy field ........consistency across the board surely gives the game of footy credibility.......no matter the level we play

Well said Freezin.. That brings up an interesting point.. If these players did the same in the AFL what would their penalties be.. Harsh to say the least and their club would be up for big dollars if they protested the decision and lost/.

No problem at the WAFL level though..

Bottom line is WE can do nothing about it and it has been happening for years event before the Alignment.. A couple of broken jaws justify that statement where the cases were basically dropped because of lack of evidence... Yet I know for a fact a Security guard who witnessed a major injury to a WP player was told his evidence and not necessary and he would not be called up to make a statement.

It must be nice to be a protected species..

But as I said it will continue so live with it... as long as no player gets seriously injured we will have to let the AFL WA control the tribunal decisions
