Disappointing to see Cruize go to Peel rather than coming home.

Peels recruiting makes you question the rules surrounding the alignment.

How are Peel going to find the money? Or have they?

Is this official? If so how they can afford Motlop, Jacky and now Gartlett is beyond me. All three are 10 point players aren't they?

Yep disappointing but the longer it dragged on the more apparent he was going elsewhere.
Our club now has to move on and recruit someone else that would be like for like with the role they had in mind for Garlett!!

The weak as water WAFC make sure they have the extra pots available and the Dockers(like the Eagles) will foot the transfer fees and salaries to these players,they wont be playing for peanuts thats for sure.

That may be true 30 plus but Peel and East Perth would still have to come under the salary cap wouldn't they? Unless the are getting jobs at Freo or the Eagles like Development Officers or Player Development Managers?

The WAFL will find ways around it for them.

Peel have 8 10 point players on their list.

There will be no pathway for the millions of kids in the Peel region we were told about.

And I believe they have missed 4 payments of repaying debt.

That's the problem the details haven't been worked out yet. Number of non-zoned players allowed (G7 wanted 2) Peel have recruited 3 on top of what they had.

Salary cap G7 wanted it lowered for Peel & EP, nothing done yet.

Now you raise a very good point, are they going to be allowed to have WCE & Dockers foot salary bills?

It has become a farce.

And I suppose Dorrington will still want to come to lunch.

They say there is no such thing as a FREE LUNCH. Well I disagree there will be plenty of free lunches at the Peel and EP football club for the WAFC and AFL hierarchy.

Cardy I can't remember the last time Dorrington missed one of our home games.

He's not the only 'scoff and off' parasite we have to deal with. Clint Roberts was pretty good at getting in for a free chow when at the WAFC.

If Garlett was after the big quid then I'm not too bothered we didn't get him.

We must surely have the points and some dough around to snare a couple more top line players before the start of the season....surely

Dazzler, my understanding is that we are far from finished.

Garlett would have been handy as a one point player.

I am now very concerned that these two Clubs will become powerhouses.

And they are concerned about being competitive.
