Not sure what to make of this. Had a solid but not spectacular year at East Perth. Played 20 games for 382 disposals, 107 marks and 10 goals.

Throughout his career he has been described as someone with great hands and has the ability to run all day. Is a former Larke Medallist and at 192 cm if he can live up to his potential then should be a very good pick up.

Will be interesting to see what the benefits of playing with his brothers will do. Might just spur him on that little bit more.

Welcome to the club Cale and wish you all the best for the 2014 season :)

Not sure I agree with some of the opinions on this one.

I think all 3 will be handy pick ups.

If I recall the day correctly (the day Wellingham played for EP against us) Cale was best on ground with 30 odd disposals with Wellingham next best.

I am prepared to give him and his brothers a chance, versatile players and have all played AFL.

Cale Morton played 20 league games for EP this year.

Had 392 disposals averaging 19.6 per game with 5 marks per game. Also kicked 10 goals.

I am sure he played back this year.

As I said I am prepared to give him a go.

So on that basis, welcome to the mighty DEES, Jarryd, Mitch and Cale.

Would be good to see all three performing strongly in the same side.

I wonder who the last side was to have three brothers playing in the same team together?

be interested to see how much the transfer fee will be for the fella.....If I was CL, I'd be asking for 30 -40K minimum......top 4 draft pick, Larke Medallist, 75 plus AFL games......may be soft as butter and the biggest outside player ever going.....but I'd milk him for every cent I could get if I was CL......

has anyone seen that utube vid of Cale?.....the one where Cale confronts an opposition player and then when the guy retaliates, Cale is seen running off with the opposition player chasing him.....very funny indeed....Gary Lyon and the footy panel had a right chuckle at that......saw it on the BigFooty site!

Northy, he will be a good pick up, make no mistake. He will be playing with his brothers and not thrown into a club that he has no passion for (Ferals this year).

Sheesh!!!

I reckon there's a fair chance you will be saying that every time he goes near the footy.

The ball better be in open space because ge won't put his body on the line to get it. Easy to get high disposal numbers when you play spare man in defence.
