I would hope if we do lose Smith then we replace him with a mid and not a ruckman.
That for to long has been the recuiting mentality of this club, not recruiting and replacing like for like losses.

If he does go....get the top dollar for him and recruit a midfielder with experience and not swap him for another volitile ruckman that spits it if it doesnt go his way...we have had enough of them.
I just dont get how players like Smith who come back from the AFL system re-join us and within 18 months want out.....whats the problem?
His form in the ressies has been outstanding!

Lets hope whatever problem the club has with Ali the club sorts it out and sorts it out quickly.
As PN pointed out with us playing all the top sides from here on in we will need Ali in the league team to push for that elusive spot in the 4.
I dont reckon it will be a good look on the club if one of the main reasons we dont make the finals is if our midfield gets smashed in the coming weeks and Ali Smith is nowhere to be seen!

Well well well, I hope I get an apology from all the flogs that said I was talking shit, hey TFAF.

Long Time 97 he obviously doesn't have the right character, this may come back to bite me but we wont be playing finals without this guy in our midfield,no doubt be at the Black and Whites in 2014.

Pete can you show me where I said you were talking shit please.

Long time can you tell us what has happened and give us some sources?

I see you have only posted once and for all any of us know you could be just stirring the pot. Come on give us something. An answer to my first question at the very least.

TFF my source is someone very close to his camp.

I dont blame him after being put up for trade for swans ruckman then dropped to the 2's where in my opinion based on stats alone he should have come straight back into the side.

As a lifelong dees supporter i am baffled at how a kid of this ilk, who has done the righty in coming back to his club of origin can be pushed to the point of leaving. Skills, 1% ers and pace is something we desperately require in this side and his experience at the top level would be invaluable when things start to get tough in the last few rounds of the year trying to get us into the finals for the 1st time in a very long time

Long time,30+ and Pete,

Ali at Training tonight. Where does this leave your statements???
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

same place where I know doubt you have left a few statements you have gotten wrong in life TFAF?..... .

more worried TFAF, that you actually took the time out to prove these boys wrong by fronting up to PFC training.....hopefully you went because you are employed by the club .......or have a son or family member playing down at PFC....because if you haven't.....then I'm definitely getting worried about your PFC fetish......though 35 years can do strange things to folk I guess!

Below is what you posted!!
Is this stuff you knew for a fact or were you just guessing??

Sacko, I couldn't agree more. But if it is true who should we be disappointed with.

The club for asking him to train harder and get fitter - because (lets be honest he is a great player but he was not fit).

Or him (for walking away from the club {if all this is true} when they may be on the verge of something) because he didn't want to train the house down along with everyone else?

Maybe just maybe all parties sat down and resolved some issues...who knows??

Well I find it both amusing and a little rude somewhat, how a certain forum user at another club posts on every teams site, but everyone ignores him and never responds to his statements, like he never posted at all...
