Just making my way back from Gnarloo for the big game on Saturday and am finall back on the grid. Thought there may be some interest in thw important game but norhing written. Is it because the detractors stay quite unlesd we lose and the supportwrs stay quite in the hope of not looking optimistic. Ffs, who are the ins, and outs?

According to the WAFL website out of the side goes Collard, Hunt and Johnston and into the side is Sam Butler, Simon Tunbridge and Mitch Leyendekkers.

Great to have Sammy back and really hope Leyendekkers makes the final squad of 22 and has a ripper of the game

Yes a must win game.

Smith and Reimers are also named on an extended bench.
Surely these 2 must be in the final 22.
Smith coming off a 30 posession,6 inside 50's game in the ressies and Reimers 17 touches and 4 goals!

Yep spot on. Ali Smith must play. Peel aren't too shabby in the middle with Michie, Orzal, Thornton, Jones and Motlop. We need our best midfield on the park and No. 1 in that is Ali Smith.

If he fronts up again for the ressies it will be an absolute disgrace.

Ali Smith surely should be in the best 22.

Reimers has been pretty ordinary so another game in the reserves wouldnt hurt.

Yes it would be and if he does front up in the ressies again then maybe there is a fair bit of truth in what Peter North has been saying re-Smith!

Peel will make this a much tougher game than the last time we played them,we must come out all guns blazing.
16 or 17 goals is what we will need to kick to be a winning score imo.

I'd love to know what Ali has done to warrant an extended spell in the ressies. If its for a lack of defensive effort in the game against Swans then three quarters of the league team need to be in the ressies with him!

Or is it something else. Did he leave the toilet seat up? Didn't bring a plate to the players tea?

Mindboggling that the best midfielder in the squad languishes in the reserves.

And you are right 30+, this aint going to be a stroll in the park. That Peel team is infinitely better than the B-grade outfit they put up against us last time. There's a couple of old favourites in it which always terrorise us - Brad Holmes and Kristian Thornton who weren't there last time. Gee whiz are we that good that one of the best midfielders in the comp can go around in the ressies?

Yes it's mystifying but it looks like just the 3 changes at this stage.
Butler, Leyendekkers and Tunbridge in for Collard, Hunt and Johnston.
If it is based on form and discipline why is Tunbridge straight back in.

No we are not that good,Smith certainly is our best midfielder and lets face it our midfield as a group is workman like,nothing special.
So yeah to leave Smith out would be mind boggling!!
