Perth Supporters.

Can we all try and get to the games.

The pen only had 30 people in it at the start of the game.

Say your piece on here, remember that the club is us the supporters and helpit grow. Regime change and all that sort of sstuff that some dream of is something completely different to supporting your club.

The players need us. Don't punish them by not coming along.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Here Here! I couldn't believe how quiet it was there today. They even had to drag kids out of the crowd to make up numbers for the little league. What was going on elsewhere today?

I was at the game but thanks anyway :)

In all seriousness though I do think that it was a combination of things that kept people away today.

In no particular order you had the train issue, school holidays and also the fact that we got done by 15 goals last week.

Also the fact that we haven't played at home since June 16th and now do not play at home until August 24th.

I would estimate that today's game had about 1400-1500 people. With the above factors being taken into account I think that contributed to a loos of 400-500 people.

Well we couldn't blame the weather! Great day for standing in the sunshine watching the footy! This year I have introduced 8 people who have never been to a wafl game mainly guys from the east those who used to follow other teams when they were kids but now follow afl purely and never give going to a wafl game a second thought!

We have to promote the game to our friends and family and ask them to come along! I never go to the footy by myself! The funny thing is they always enjoy themselves and actually say how they liked it in comparison to going to afl games. Even when 5 of us went to the swans game we had a good day out with the banter in the black and white mosh pit!

I guess that's what 35 years does to folk.......should be a good battle now for 3rd and 4th between EP, SD and Perth......perhaps 3 games v Peel might be the key here.....touch wood it goes down to the wire.....

Yes freeze unfortunately one must think how much longer until even us diehards loose interest with no success! It's almost a bit twisted that even just winning more games than we have lost has given us some hope!

On a bright note though all our grades are now in the 4 at the season's neat end so like it or not there will be red and black at subi this year! Just how many well that like every year is still unknown!

Yes, it is good to have a train station even if it is vacant.
