An unusual request for those out in Demonland. Would anybody know of the whereabouts or have any footage of the day Scott Spalding was tackled by his own team mate when playing for the Demons. I'm led to believe it was from season 94 or 95 and apparently the footage made it on to a segment of almost footy legends. Any help will be much appreciated as yes there is a 'stitch-up' in play here. Will make it interesting and put up a bottle of good Tassie Pinot Noir (DF I had you in mind) to anyone that can provide this footage(first in best dressed)

I was at that game..not that the memeory is that flash anymore but i thought it was Scott that did the tackling???
I could be wrong but either way Scott was involved.

My information is that Scott was the tackled player, not the tackler. If it turns out he was the tackler even better. Thanks for feedback 30+. Good chance we'll find it being the televised game.

DW, Scott Spalding is currently a Director of the club. He could confirm whether he was the "Tackler" or the Tacklee".
As 30+ says, perhaps the ABC could help with footage of the incident. It could be lost deep in their archives.

I think his name was Scott Halpin. We recruited him from Springvale in Melbourne. He was no star but handy at times that season.
I'm pretty sure it was 1995.

He was the tackler.
