What’s wrong with Parfitt and how long is he out? We have a bye after EF - will he be ok by then? If Thorne and R Clarke are fit, one of them is the obvious choice to replace Simpson. If both are fit, I’d drop Hill or Philip.

Regan's hand still strapped maybe he's ok after the state round bye. Fingers crossed Simpson and Parfitt will be available then too. I'd look at bringing Stubbs in for a bigger body midfield and forward against the Sharks. And Thorne.

I believe Parfitt may well be back this week.

Simpson is an out so that’s the replacement.

If Parfitt doesn’t get up I would go Watson as an in.

I must say I am surprised at your pitch for Stubbs DD - for mine he is slow, drops easy marks and falls over a lot. When I look up and see him on the lead in the forward line my heart drops.

Saying that if his body language is good after a few weeks in the Ressies - welcome back.

BTW - Are you seeing him as a mid or forward?

Did anyone see Thorne at Lathlain on Saturday. If not is the one week knee bs?
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Going on Stubbs numbers last two weeks TF. 27 and 2 goals and this week 31. Yes Watson if fit comes. McLean and Hill possible outs with Simpson. Thorne in for Hill and Watson for Baxter Philip possibly.

Simpson apparently with a hammy and likely to miss a month according to The West. They are also saying Parfitt, Thorne and Watson should be available next week.

My understanding is that Parfitt was hamstring awareness, whatever that is.
I assume a bit of tightness in the hammy, and his withdrawal was precautionary.
Probably available this week.
We will need to be at our very best against EF.

What does the club do with Simpson. As soon as he gets out of a trot his hammy pings. I read something on Jacob Hopper at Richmond. He has dodgy hammy’s as well and virtually doesn’t sprint at all. He does his work on the inside and runs at 70% to get to the next contest. He’s going well at the moment. Maybe something similar for Simpson. It’s pointless him playing a couple of games then missing 4.
