Parker always takes off on a wide arc gains 20 metres and we let it happen.
He always plays well against us.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.

Thought you were suppose to get belted???? Thats what you all said. Decent team you have there - very young backline and team in general - SF did enough all night. Not sure why you're sticking true to old spuds like Coniglio - he wouldn't get a game anywhere else - and now not at Perth. The young kid, 16 looks a likely type at HB - you're better off playing him. Missed big Clarke up forward - he would've made a huge difference. But SF had a few out.

Anyways, Leggett with another 4 - he would've been handy

Clarke missing one not two games will be available next week against WP. Would have won tonight with him out there but important family occassions comes before football.

What don't you like about Baxter Philip Ted? He's had a growth spurt since he first debuted and had a good pre season. Him and O. HB certainly add pace but I like Cogs, stuff what others say. Not sure why he didn't play today.

Brogan-Henry and Brodie Gray are serving 2 match suspensions from last season. Stubbs has a calf injury but might be available next week.

Parfitt was super on debut as you would expect, Constable great again. Derksen very impressive on debut.

Plenty to look forward to. Don't think any injuries have come out of this game which is a real positive.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

I think Philip is soft. He plays wing/on ball usually- 7 touches gives us nothing. Cogs in backline and OHB on wing might give more drive. Getting Cllarke back allows us to put Randall in midfield rotations which support Constable, Byrne and Parfitt. Thorne also disappointing. I’d rather see him as a small forward with the occasional run on the ball.

Someone talk to me about Tristan Jaques.
54 hit outs and 19 disposals.
I watched the 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the Ressies and mentioned how well Jaques was playing in q2. However in q3 he fell over/hit the deck 5 times and that's a lot of time on the ground. We had a terrible third quarter and last 5 minutes of the game in the seconds. Other than that ok.

Watson was the stand out for me, Bodle second, Jaques and Dellamatta (managed at 3/4 time) next. Young Cooper Moore now playing the very difficult half forward. John looks like he needed the run. Q didn't do much nor Fairbank. Didn't really notice anyone else in the ressies

Someone asked somewhere - why isn't Poole on our lists. I was told he has been at training and wearing a new helmet. If so he should be on our injury list. Injury List should add suspensions to it with an * I reckon.

I only saw the first half of the league but I thought we looked fantastic. Looking at the stats Ted might be right re: Phillip - not great numbers for a winger. Maybe Watson in for him. Who's out for Clarke in?
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

I’d put Schlensog full back and drop Preston-Coates for Clarke. Though that leaves us without a second ruck.  If Simpson fit, he comes in for Philip. Randall midfield and Thorne small forward. Stubbs has to earn his place through the reserves, but Kemp/Paton under pressure.

Don't Perth usually beat SF?
