Regardless of where these two teams are on the ladder it will be a hard game. However of the Demons are serious about staying in contention for a finals spot and not dropping back in the pack, then it is a game they must win.

Bottom line is,if we lose to South and Swans beat West Perth we will not be in the 4 come Saturday night.

To explain my point I'll use the ladder after round 12. Teams in 3-6 on the table were all on 20 points with Swan Districts in 7th on 16 points. With the ladder like this one week you could be 3rd then then next you could be 6th.

Whilst I know that only the top four play finals I was just stating how important that this game is on the weekend. Because if and that is still a massive if, we potentially beat SF this weekend and the other results go the way they should then we hopefully will be 2 games clear and putting some distance, albeit not a lot between us and the other teams below us.

Although much can happen at this early stage I would imagine it most likely that Tiggers, WP and East Perth should be in for the finals with Perth and SD fighting it out for a spot and EF and Subi trying their guts out to sneak in ???

Exactly right Chopper in regards to the fact there are still 8-9 games left for very team and that a lot could still happen. Hence every team has to rock up on the day and play good hard footy and hopefully they can get the 4 points at the end of the game.

Hence why if you are able to put some games on the teams around you then this can help as well.
