Nothing much to say really. Hate being a pessimist but can't see us winning this one. Looks like Scoble will have to come in. If we play like we did in the last qtr last week for 3 and a half qtrs we are a chance.

I think we are fielding a reasonable team but I can’t see us matching Peel. I’m surprised again that Cachard is playing reserves. A fine day is forecast so I think Scoble should play.

Will need to wait and see which Perth team turns up I guess. If the Demons replicate the last week's final quarter effort into today's entire match - they'll give this Home game a real good shake.

Purely going by the progressive scores, the reserves game looked like a cracker and a good win to the colts. Hope the league can make it 3 from 3.

Probably our best 4 qtr effort of the season with 21 men for all but the first 10 minutes when Noah Murray did his hamstring. Great effort by the ressies to come back twice and win. Another bag of 5 for Q and 3 from Moody putting their hand up. We need more goal kickers. Watson good again and Ewing pushing his case.

I haven't complained about the umps all year, but they had a shocker today. Some of the non decisions on holding the ball where Peel players were done cold were baffling. Stubbs or Cary - or both - need to come out. Cary had a couple of critical fumbles when he needed to be clean and Stubbs just hasn't looked like it all year.

Cary and Stubbs are just not quite
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

All season the holding the ball rule has baffled me. The umpires yesterday made it all perfectly clear. The holding the ball rule does not apply to any AFL players playing in the WAFL or their team-mates. For teams opposing these players, it only has to look like you’re about to be tackled, the whistle blows and it’s holding the ball. It’s quite simple really and now makes sense.

CM you are quite right.
Certainly the AFL listed players, their teammates and certain "good players" and "good sides" get treated a lot differently to the PFC.
