Sounds like the preseason scratchy might have been a bit fiery so hopefully the boys haven't forgotten that!
Manuel seems to enjoy kicking multiple goals against Perth so need to check him closely.
The rain looks like it may have passed by 2:30
Yes Harry and Clarke combined well that day and Harry was most impressive kicking an accurate 4.1. If only he could have continued his pre season accuracy into the season we would be sitting well and truly in the top 5 even with the injuries we've had.

Well done to the Colts boys, fought back and fought it out to the end.
Just fell a bit short.
Cooper Moore played a great game.
Obviously, our Country Zone does not produce 199cm 17/18yr olds.
What is in the water down in Albany?
Did any of the 10 Claremont players that played against SA play today?
10 Players in a State side from one Club Selectors only watch Claremont games?
Despite WA winning so well it does beg the question.

CM they had 9 more scoring shots and were inaccurate.
Our problem is we don't seem to know how to bring it out of defence.
Or connect with our forwards.
And our disposal looks panicked.
They do try hard.

DF, I admit I only saw the last quarter and I thought we had some excellent passages of play and certainly never gave up. But we need to score more goals. So many shots score points or sail across the face and miss completely.  From what I saw, it was certainly a winnable game.

It was a credible effort marred by a very poor second quarter. Our tackling was poor in that term, with Claremont breaking and brushing us off too easily. Some skill errors hurt, as they always do. A positive was the return of Avery, who collected 31 touches in the reserves. You would expect he will come into the league team next week. Also worth mentioning the return of Cooper Moore in the colts. He has missed all season to date with injury, but got 30 touches and should play league footy next season.

Burner and Thompson were outstanding today and Noah Cahard I thought was also outstanding with 19 possessions and showed the way with two beautiful set shot goals. Time for Cooley to have a rest in the two's. His disposal is very ordinary. Davis has also gone back to his old habits after an outstanding first half dozen or so games.

Schlensog I believe sustained a corky so hopefully he gets up next week but Wills will probably miss with an ankle. Avery outstanding as you'd expect in the ressies but was limping late in the game but I spoke to him at half time in the league. He said his foot got troden on but was his other foot. He said it's ok but he copped a whack in the ribs and had ice on it after the game. Seems to think he's ok.

Could have Avery, Constable and Simpson available next week. Edwards was on one leg late in the game.

Watson and Fairbank continue to impress in the reserves along with Noah Murray.

Good to hear Watson is coming on.
He was a favourite of mine last year in the Colts.
Reads the play very well off half back.
I would prefer him to Hill.
Actually I would prefer any one over Hill.
