Ryan Newick is a big unit. Looks like a bigger version of Charlie Thompson. Similar build to his uncle Luke but just 188cm. Got a real appetite to hunt the footy and opponents. Looks to me to be tailor made for the midfield.

Great to see Sinclair helping out at training. Quality bloke. Perth legend. I am optimistic there will be another announcement not far away.

Jed Kemp has been announced by the club now

Perth Football Club is excited to announce new signing Jed Kemp from West Coast WAFL. Jed comes as a quick and aggressive small forward and will compliment our new forward line structure. Welcome to the club!

I made it to training on Monday. Here's a few observations that might not have been mentioned yet

Josh Edwards moves well for a big fellow. He was lively in the ground ball training drills
Same for Aaron Clarke. He is a big unit and wasn't taking any backwards steps in the same drill
AJ, Tayls and Gregor Taylor were running laps and didn't participate in anything with the main group.
James Ewing seems more bulked up than i remember. He is still training away from the main group
One of the new people trying out for a spot is Clayton Wood (ex-EF)
