Great effort by the boys to get the win
 

So much for the twin towers.
Great persistence by the DEES.
Another lesson from Jaiden Hunter.
I hope there were some boys watching closely.
It is not hard to be a leading forward, it is just knowing when, how and where to lead.
Contested marking is a bonus.
Good game, I was not confident we could hang on but we did.
Must get better with contested possessions.
Seen enough of Daniel Hill goes to ground too easily rather than staying in the contest.
All in all some good signs.

Sustained intensity, numbers to the contests, a leading target up forward and the odd freak goal. A gutsy win boys.

Has been comments all week about JH. John Townsend calling the game today kept saying he was playing his last game for the Demons. Good luck to him especially after he has gone through so much in last couple of years. He deserves his chance.

Full credit to Germo today. A lot of effort getting the match ups right over the course of the game. His “Team that keeps its head wins” speech at three quarter time spot on too. We are blessed to have Germo and Rumble leading the coaching. 

Bad luck for the demons. Big win.

I would be staggered if Jack Avery isn't picked up.

Yes, Dazz. I think we are starting to really see what Germo, Rumble and Smith are bringing to the table. A long way to go yet but we must keep the momentum going in the right direction. 
I doubt Germo will expect anything less.
While I'm about it. What a great pickup has Charlie Thompson turned out to be? And how about Matty Taylor's goal that won the game. Now I would like to see that again.
 

A win for the ages. The trick now is to make sure that isn't a one off but we bring that sort effort each week. Would have been great to have had a win last game for Sinkers and Tails but better late than never.

If we lose Hunter and Avery that will be a massive setback but that's every players dream. Good luck to them both. It gives others a chance at senior level.

Good win by the colts. Top of the table clash next week between the only two unbeaten teams in the colts.
