Geez that boy is going to be some player....been watching him on the Colts live streaming....very agile for a big man. Surely Perth need to play the kid sooner rather then later?....stick him on a wing or on a flank....nothing to lose....Hunter, Livingstone, Stubbs, Carey/Quartermaine plus a resting Dakota from time to time, could cause some forward mischief for Perth.

Subi have rolled the dice on Tholstrup and Kentfeld...and whilst not dominating, definitely added some enthusiasm into their side. Livingstone is just as good, probably even better then those 2. Look how good McDonald was for you boys in 2020.

Freez, McDonald was 18 going on 19. This lad is still 17 and 200cm 96 kg with further growth spurts to come. Undoubtedly a talent.
I would like to see him given a go at a higher level at some stage but PSA and u/18s may restrict his availability. He is in the WCE academy I believe.
Our Colts and Ressies are both travelling well at this early stage of the season. We are finally seeing some talent in numbers coming through which augers well for the club going forward and something we have not seen for decades.
Perhaps our re-drawn zones are having some impact.

Mate, Livingstone actually turns 18 this month, this is his draft year. McDonald in 2020, his draft year, turned 18 in April. So there is only 1 month between them age wise in their respective draft years. Tholstrup(June) and Kentfeld(Sept)are even younger then Livingstone, and they are more then being competitive for Subi's league side. Perth have got nothing to lose by playing him, you are going to lose him anyway in November.

EF missed the opportunity playing Jackson and Rivers in their draft years, but last year played Cleaver and Hagan, two youngsters in their draft year....youth is the way to go...especially talented youth like Livingstone.

I did not say that we would not play him. What I did say was that his availability may be restricted one way or another.
Personally, I would like to see him play. We have lost players to AFL who have left the club without playing a senior game.
WCE most likely to get him one of two ways. He is in their Academy or the way the Eagles are going they may be sure things to score number 1 draft pick. It would depend on how they would plan to use their early pick(s). They may end up with another choice in mind.
