Sad that our only chance of breaking our 11 game losing streak rests on the Eagles being horribly undermanned. Even then, you would give them some chance of beating what appears to be a demoralised Perth side. It will be a case of the least worst team winning. The Eagles will get Kelly, Culley and possibly Rioli back. However, I understand they will lose Jones, Naitanui, Waterman and Gaff. Plus they are likely to take a travelling emergency. I think they had 6 AFL players v SD, so it may be that they will have as few as 4 against us. Again, it's unfortunate that we have to rely on our opposition being completely inept to have any chance of winning. I'll take the win if we get it, but it's not a game I'm fired up for. 

Yes a good summary Ted. Apparently the weather on game day is looking alright around the various grounds.
Perth had a horrid year with some bad luck. Should be a Perth win coming up in round 18 one would think. If Perth get organised the following week, they should be able to give Subiaco a good run for their money. From memory Perth only lost by 2 or 3 goals to Subi earlier in the season. Would be great to see the Dee's win two on the trot.

The only day of the year that the DEES look forward to is Mad Monday.
They all seem to put in that day.
And it comes early every year.
Change is needed but sadly there is no-one on the horizon.
Unfortunately Houghton and Yovich are long gone.
Remember how they always led the after game function?
Vince in particular was a very passionate man and revved the supporters up in no uncertain manner.
Now you hear f+++ all from the President.
Not that I think he would have anything meaningful to say.
So far all promises unkept.

Perth will win this game by at least 6 goals. Looking at the Eagles last week, half the team are reserves standard players.

This is no walk up start for Perth. The Eagles may not be quite as weak as I first thought. It now seems they will lose only Naitanui and Waterman, but if they get Rioli, Culley and Kelly, they don't need to take anyone out of their WAFL team. Meanwhile, we have lost Byrne. I am concerned that, with Byrne out, Browne, Winder and Trew will give the Eagles a midfield advantage.
