It’s one thing to have a little nap at half time, as long as you remember to wake up in time for the third quarter. 

Impossible to argue with Smokey's assessment that we lack fitness. This is the third time in 11 games that we have dropped a 5 goal lead at or just before half time. (though we held on to win against Peel) Plus we were overrun by Subi, SF and WP after being reasonably competitive. On today's game, how could we surrender a 5 goal lead on a wet day? Surely we could have made it a low scoring slog after getting the early lead? Instead, SD had a 5 goal quarter in bad conditions. Simple answer is that they were prepared, and able to run, and we were not. This wound up not even real being an honourable loss - a 44 point turnaround from late in the second quarter. (though the 24-13 free kick count didn't help) We lose the disposal count badly in almost every game - 67 more to SD. We had one player with over 20, SD had 5. 

Another worrying trend is how many low scoring, often goalless quarters we have. In 11 games we have had goalless quarters v WC, EP, WP (in each game), S, SF, and SD. Plus 1 goal quarters v PT, EF (2 quarters), SF, WP and SD. So a little over one third of our quarters are either goalless or just one goal. 

I guess many would say it's unfair to look at the coach when we have had a bad injury run. But as is often said, footy is a results driven industry and Moss now has a 6-23 win loss record - and 2 of those by 2p and 1p. I really can't see where another win will come from unless we play a very depleted WCE. Can a coach survive those numbers? 

Bit tough on Mossy IMO. He just does not have the cattle. No hard run, no skills, no smarts. A lost cause for any coach.

Maybe time to sack the Board.

Very soft on Moss he has a poor record and he doesn’t try anything inventive.

Poor selection decisions regularly. 

We have limited pace and regularly have a heap of players who have under 10 possessions. 9 players with 9 possessions or less today.
