Seriously, yes we do need talent, but we don't have anyone at the Club that knows how to identify talent.
Our current Colts and Reserves coaches have been there too long and have shown very little ability to develop young players.

Don't we have point concessions?
And the best we can do is spend 10 points on an average player who will never dominate a game.
The rest of our recruiting are guys that can't get a game elsewhere.
Time for Bob and his Team to go.
Complete disappointment.

Geezus not wrong that’s a huge blow. Is Ainsworth Stiffy’s brother from another mother? How is Sinclair not in the best? Special mention to the umpires for evening up the free kick count by the end of the game. Mighty effort. 

We had extra points but lost them not long ago. Apparently finishing 6th for a couple of years and sneaking into finals meant we had to be taken down a peg. Recruiting helps but you can only build sustained success with zones. I’m not convinced Byford is the answer and it will probably take another 15 years before the next zone review.

Not sure you can point a finger at the ressies coaches. 
Here is a list of current players that have developed through our current Reserves coach:
Zac Hill
Kasey Nicholas
Brodie Grey
Corey Byrne
Sam Perkusich
Regan Clarke
Connor Sing

Reserves copped a flogging. Review the Reserves list, there is minimal depth.

The League is floundering.

The Club continues to bring players from other Clubs who are generally not getting a League game at that club. Treat them like they are the solution to the Clubs problems.
(And they are not by the way)

Too many people both on and off the field now well past use by date ??
It will take some time but a serious cleanout from top to bottom is indicated and a new pathway forward opened up.
Boldness, conviction and courage the way to go.
 

Perhaps someone should remind the players that thay are called "quarters" for a reason - the game doesn't stop at three quarter time....there are four of them!

We do make a lot of mistakes at times and can also lack discipline.
Our problem is an inability to maintain our best.

I agree. Many periods of most games this season have been as good as anything I’ve seen from this club in many years. It just seems to be those 5-10 minute brain fades that lose the game. I think the coach is doing a great job with what he’s got. Look at the last game. Start of the first quarter was shit. Start of the last quarter was shit. For the rest of the game it was pretty tight.
