Bygones or just more trouble headed our way?  My thoughts are we shouldn't keep recruiting players with problem pasts, but some think give them a chance. What are your thoughts on this?

Usually people with too much baggage from the past, obviously haven't moved on. And sadly a lot of the time it stays with them because they either will not or don't wish to let go of it. And they find it difficult moving on.
Has been my sometimes painful experience with others from previous times. Some footballers would be no different.

That incident happened 3 years ago, and it was about the time that Michael Bennell’s form went down the gurgler.

Yes it happened 3 years ago but it still goes to show character which was why I asked the question. Should we place players with this kink of history or let it be bygones and give them a chance?
