In folks eyes, who out of these two champions, is the best ever PFC product? Obviously Cable donned the black n red way  more then Franklin, but geez kicking 1000 goals is right up there in terms of achievements..... but so is winning 3 Sandovers.....both legends of the game....but which one out of the two would you pick, if you could only pick one to don the red n black again?

Firstly I have trouble calling Buddy a PFC product. How many games did he actually play for PFC in any grade?

With all due respect to Buddy.
Barry Cable was the best footballer I ever saw.
A man who had exponential influence over 6 premierships.
For Perth alone 3 sandover and 3 Simpson medals for 1966 1967 and 1968 premierships.
Was he not also runnerup to 3 of  Walker's sandovers?

I believe that Buddy played one season of Colts and 1 only league game for the Dees. Not sure about his underage record at PFC.
It cannot be disputed where he stands in AFL/VFL history - one of the all time greats.

That pretty much sums it up, Cabes for me but imagine those two in the same side? Cable taking it out of the centre bounce and ripping it down Buddy's throat with a drop kick? Geezus.

I'll pose one to you Mr Freeze. Brian Peake or Josh Kennedy?
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

The first 3 legends of the Perth Football Club are Cable, McIntosh and Wiley, and then count back from there.
Franklin is not in this conversation. What an insult to players like Harper, Brehaut and Johnson.
East Fremantle legends, let me think Doug Green or spud Bill.

The very reason why I posted  the Barry/Buddy question was because that's the conundrum these days sadly....so much talent is taken from a club way too early.....well played DD....Bomber for me, but right now EF could use JK over Bomber.

Cess, that's a difficult one.....let me think about that and get back to you.
