Hopefully it doesn’t get too tedious for you Freezin if your club has to some how field a side with at least half of your best 22 unavailable for long periods. Anyway it’s getting a bit tedious reading about these train on’s you keep moaning about. Give it a rest will ya? We can only dream about having the talent that AFL clubs love to take off your hands.

EF had plenty of best 22 guys out for long periods last year DD, they even had to roll out  a 35 yr old Harry Taylor from country footy to play at one point, because the club had no available tall forwards.....from memory Perth won a few games v SF and WP without their best players, yet when they came back they lost to EF of all sides and many others.

Anyway for a club that didn't have half their best 22 available  for long periods due to injury....Perth won a reserves flag, infiltrated with a number of quality league boys in Yeo, Eyres, Rogers etc....I think EF reserves side finished 2nd last, due to the club playing colts boys, to cover all those reserves boys going up to  the vast number of senior list injuries.....

As for the draft, always a pleasure to see EF or any clubs youngsters getting the AFL nod.....just sadly too many drafts each year now for my liking....

Yeh obviously the talent we have in our zones is there but we are just too lazy to work them unlike EF it’s purely down to their hard work. Ditto for Claremont.

Gee Perth woulda loved the option to roll out a player of Harry Taylor’s calibre to cover some outs. The bloke will still be a champ in his 40s!

It’s kind of you to call Yeo, Rogers and Eyres “quality league boys” but could you really see them getting a gig for any club other than Perth? Anyway, i guess we are talking about ressies flags here and so if that is the prize for ‘cheating’ it is not the worst crime. Plus i think everyone agrees it was justified to beat the opponent we did - everyone’s a winner! 🥳

Gee Satan.....would of thought players with near or over 100 games of WAFL footy are considered quality league players regardless of which club they played for.....not sure where you got cheating from either in regards to PFC reserves flag....just find it strange for Perth fans to say my club was decimated with injury all year, yet their reserves team was still able to get a few quality league players qualified  to play in the finals....surely they would of been required to cover half  those first 22 boys out injured?

You missed the point about Harry and why he needed to play in the first place....but hey Perth were the only club with a long injury Iist in 2021..  so I see where you are coming from.

With ex EF Brodie Riach overseeing PFC junior zones now DD, I guess the hard work will finally begin....been a long time coming apparently.

I guess if it pays off your club will be able to claim all the credit then? Was in a similar role at Subi last year I believe.

Naagh  DD.....Riach has no experience working  EF zones in a development  capacity.....reckon Subi might take all the credit mate in that department.....I guess Riach realizes his footy career is best served off the park then on it.....wish him all the best...big job ahead of him from all reports....well going off that 1000 page STT thread from last year, its a big job.....though STT was an emotive sort when it came to the PFC  and its junior zones.
