Nothing heard from the club as yet.
I saw a game back in the WACA days (the 50s). The ground was totally flooded. Billy Curtis picked up the ball backward of centre, he ran through the middle and hoisted a mighty punt that got picked up by the wind and landed just short of the goal line and it's momentum helped to float it through for a goal. No kidding.
Surely there is another old timer who can confirm it.
