Putting my concerns about the administration aside  for a second , I think  yesterday is the 1st time I have had some positive thoughts since the Subi thrashing. Claremont were coming of a bad loss to Subi and would have been fired up yesterday and as others have said ,with a bit more polish we would have won.
I've got to hand it to Moss it would have been easy given all of the injuries to just keep playing the experienced guys to limit the extent of our losses but instead he dropped Rogers, and Colledge amongst others and has tried a few younger players..this took a lot of guts for a 1st year coach...
Hopefully Nikiya John and one or 2 others get a run in the last couple of games to see what they can offer.

According to John Townsend’s brief summary of the game Bolton took control of the game. Apparently?
No mention of the effort from Brodie Gray to limit Bolton to 10 disposals but included Bolton amongst the best players. At least Brodie was nominated as Perth’s best.
Well done Brodie.

That must have related to the lucky kick for goal he got from the umpires blundering free kick to Claremont.
Did he actually see the game?
Well done Brodie Gray.

JT's article today was great. He is an absolute star in the world of WAFL.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

In the end Bolton did have an influential game kicking 3 very good goals out of 11 in an 8 point victory.

No I don’t think TFF is taking the piss, Townsend is a quality journalist, I don’t understand why people on here call him “clownsend” and dislike him so much.

Because he’s a shit stirrer and continually puts our club down flippantly that doesn’t enjoy the riches his club thrives off of. He was more respectful this week but his report after our loss to Swan Districts in the second round was a disgrace.
