One of his family members quoted on "The West" Facebook post that they have grossly exaggerated the injuries and its only very minor. Apparently he will be back training next Wednesday. 
 

What I heard before this car accident from someone who saw him recently is he wouldn’t run out of sight in a week. You can forget him playing at WAFL level in 2021. Won’t even be fit enough to be considered for reserves. He is going to need to have a good look at himself and have a big summer.

I have no sympathy for this bloke football wise. He’s had months to get himself fit and ready to play. He obviously couldn’t give a rats deep down, and I say good bye you had your chance. Why are we even bothering with him. Perth were prepared to stick our necks out and try and assist this bloke and he has just thrown it back in the club’s face.
 

Have heard it on good authority he only suffered from a sore neck, would be training tonight and be playing for Perth this weekend. I am sceptical but let’s see if he is named in the ressies tomorrow night.

Until I see otherwise I will listen to Trevor Williams rather than heresay.
He has said that EJ is doing everything asked of him.
I hope it was only minor injuries and that we see him on the park soon.
