Yes TFAF, that was Spaanderman. I see you point, but don’t forget McDud was at the helm then. There was a much higher profile player who also left mid season that year ?

See if we can get Andrew McDougall to switch him over to his team. Peos is bad news.

Bad news for you guys- appears quite handy for the Sharks. Stack will hold on won't he?

Ted Nugent wrote: 50+ is unlikely. Few players manage that in the WAFL now. I'd take 30-40 happily. If his defensive pressure is poor, the other forwards will have to work harder. Loersch will be expected to provide a target, take some marks and bring ball to ground.

On another note, should we be making contact with Stack? In trouble again for another COVID breach. Richmond may say that's the final straw.

Stack?
No thanks.

The manager works for the player,Leggett wanted out so Peos’s job was to make it happen.
If Stack was to come home and he wanted to come back to Perth then Peos would get the best deal for Stack out of us.
I wouldn’t be concerned,it’s the players decision not the managers.

That's true, 30+. However, as a manager, you would think Peos would have a pretty good idea what is and is not a binding contract. If it was obvious to the arbitrator, was it not obvious to Peos? But the worst part was Peos commenting publicly after arbitration that Leggett wouldn't play for Perth. I suppose, to be fair, he may have said that on Leggett's instructions. But for arbitration ti work the losing party has to abide by it, so I Ithought it was pretty poor that Peos compounded Leggett's contempt for the process. Anyway, Stack is damaged goods - if Richmond chop him, would another WAFL club spend 10 points on him? Wouldn't it be nice if Richmond cut him and filled his spot by re-drafting English?

It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.

ease off the salt there Ted, it aint good for the heart mate. Sounds like Stack was damaged goods way before joining Richmond...perhaps Peos should advise the kid if he does come back to the WAFL he doesn't return to his club of origin....new pastures and all that.

Back to the topic of "Thoughts on Loersch". I've seen him play a few times and he takes a good grab. The only issue I saw with him is his kicking style, its rather strange. He runs in as if to kick through the ball then at the last second stabs at it. It is very unusual. Get Murray Couper to work with him in that department over summer I say.

Yes! I noticed that when i watched his highlights vid from his colts days. Ironically in the recruitment notes it mentioned his “great kicking style” as a positive ? however it looks, let’s hope he can get the ball through the sticks

Can take a mark and kick a goal. Pressure is poor if it hits the ground. Biggest issue at EF was he was always injured- if he gets that right and plays consistently- he’ll deliver. Very good at backend of 2018 in a very poor side
