Did I just hear it right on the news that Peel have been handed a $50,000 fine and have been docked 16 premiership points for their latest cheating offence - BUT BOTH HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED! If that is correct it is an absolute friggin joke.

Froggy, the fine is payable but all the points reductions are suspended and half the 20 player point reduction is also suspended. They should have been deregistered.

Think it's a decent whack considering the findings clearly state that Peel didn't actually exceed the total player payments.

Essentially a really bad reporting error. Not defending whatever happened there but it's not like they were found to be over the cap

already 100 K in debt so no chance of paying the fine immediately hence the suspension , points docked but they won't win a game without the AFL so another suspension , and they've had the AFL with them as well
