DemonsPlight, (e-comment) rumour has it there’s been a sudden spike in membership at Lathlain Park for the Perth Football Club; is it just the fact that the Demons played really well this season or could it be that there was other she shenanigans afoot, particularly if it’s to aid a certain AFL football club that might be opposed to what’s going on at the Perth Football Club?

Are WCE really stooping so low as to stack the membership to get around changes to constitution that Damien Matthews insightfully instigated to prevent alignment.

I had noticed an increase of about 70 new members since season end.
Rather strange which tends to lend weight to conspiracy theories.
I think that there will some big questions to be answered at the AGM.
Another 8 new members today. Hmm, perhaps there is a "reverse" theory that the club (PFC) is shoring up support to oppose any alignment proposal.

It is called branch stacking something all political parties are good at!

Well they have a LOT more buy if they want a 75% majority (or anywhere near it)!

Good for the PFC financially but just make sure this isn't a case of "branch stacking" get a members partition to call a SGM and change the constitution to 90% !!

My worst fears are coming true. Despite being told by many that it can’t or won’t happen, it looks like they will do what they want. We are powerless against this entity. I knew it was a bad idea to get into bed with them. Look how they have lured and wooed us. Money for ground development, Hungry Jacks money, directing 3 players to play for us this season.
