Looks like for Perth to go all the way, they might need to replicate the WBD 2016 finals campaign...winning 4 GF on the trot....already one down with that SF victory....three more to come....as a WBD fan all I remember is that momentum and energy the side brought into each final....they weren't the best team on paper, but they won games on pure energy and emotion on and off the field....enjoy the ride boys, can see a lot of similarities here with 2016....premiership drought, loyal fans and a group of players playing on pure adrenaline....gonna be and interesting 3 weeks IF you guys can end your Joondy curse...did it at Moss St...so why not Joondy....get past WP and I would hate to be either SF or Cl in the prelim....the train may be hard to stop on and off the tracks!

Not sure about 2016 repeating Freeze.
My concern is we played our GF last Saturday.
Having said that we haven't beaten WP for 18 straight.
To say we are due is a bit of an understatement.
WP never have any expectations other than to win when they play us.
You can hear it coming out of their mouths.
We will need to be tough at the footy and win the contested possessions.
And win the tackle count like we did on Saturday.
We must not let their ball machines get uncontested possessions like they do every week.
Maybe Loftsy and Rothnie could get out on the track this week and show our players how to use their bodies.

Mate, I thought WBD had played their GF beating WCE in Perth in that 2016 elimination final win, then again after beating the 3 peat champs in Hawthorn at the MCG....then somehow falling over the line v GWS in Sydney....then beating the more experienced and Buddy led Sydney in the GF....hoodoo's and droughts are meant to be broken...at some point....yes mentally they can be difficult to over come, but come end of the day it's merely a number...all in one's head they say....all you guys need is 3 weeks of full on footy...been 20 odd years hasn't ...3 weeks is nothing then....Spalding should be telling them just go out there and get it done....nothing to lose.

Celebrations of a fantastic long overdue return to finals football are now behind us.
Now for the bigger picture. We must remain focussed this week and maintain the desire, the rage, and the belief. The job is only 25% complete and it is a long hard road ahead.
But, we CAN DO IT.....

Have a lot of admiration for the team's effort to get there.
As Earl said for the past 20 years we have done it the hard way.
Both on and off the field.
I have mixed emotions but will be there to support them.
The only way I won't be there is an accident on Forrest Highway.
