I reckon the Perth coaches dream run has come to a grinding halt. Not good signs today, it was only my second game for the year and it is hard to imagine how we've won 5 out of 7 before today and come within a kick of beating Claremont.

The midfield got absolutely creamed, O'Sullivan and Bateman didn't play but bloody hell there isn't much depth in the reserves either who were on top before today and lost to bottom of the ladder WP today.

Don't understand the big wraps some have put on Kierian Hug on here, doesn't look anywhere near ready for league football. What's happened to Daniel Murray? Didn't play in the two's either today.

From what you are saying Johnno it was a disappointing day at the office. Should be back in the winners circle next week against the ducks at home.

1 Loss isnt a season.. Maybe it was just a bad hair day :( Sure Perth got some positives out of this one and sure the coach will analyze where you went wrong..
WP certainly clicked to day and it would of been the same with any team we played. Except maybe CLA - But lets not go there  You certainly got to within 5 points of them.
Long way to go.. I thought it was going to be a lot closer myself.
Next meet with us will be in Moora I think Perth home game.. Glad its not at Lathlain... B)

Good to see Stacky kick another bag. Shocked at the reserves result but maybe a good reality check for the 1'sts. Looking forward to next weeks game against Swans which hopefully confirm today was just a glitch.

FFS your effen quick to sink the slipper in
West Perth aren't second on the table for no reason
On their home deck, they were always going to be hard to beat
Every team has their off days
They won 5 from 7 because they are hard it and have a belief in one another

Terrible outcome today. Not a great crowd either.

Bevan, Jacobs, Hodge, Risol - Great.

Florio, White, Sketcher, Eyres, Boyle - Solid.

Ali Smith clearly injured.

Ransted, must be on his last legs. Houghton to replace him.

Reimers had a day to forget, could not play that bad again. But he must start getting a hard ball instead of running off his opponent.

Hug found out the difference between league and Resies. He looked timid as well. May deserve another chance.

Ash Smith had a great running ball but has absolutely no presence or pressure on the field.

Busher beaten and I would be majorly concerned if he is not happy (and therefore dropping his head) that he is not center half forward.

McInnes down today after 3 or 4 good games.

Stack. - Well it would be nice if he could switch on from the start of a game.

Tedesco. (one of my favorites) down today. Looked to be short of breath. Flu?

Sinclair did some ok things but turned it over too often.

Johnston did not impress but it was his first.

Moody failed to follow up on last week.

More talk needed from all. Maybe a good wake up call for the Ressies.

Saw Florio being carried off after the game with what was said an ankle. He looked in a lot of pain.

Umpires favored WP but who cares.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Followed the results online. Promising start with Colts winning. Reserves dropping another game to a lowly placed team. Seem to make a habit of it now. First Peel now WP. League obviously outplayed on the day by a better side who deserve 2nd spot. Trick is now to turn it around next week and get back to what we accustomed to. The sides chasing us all dropped their game today as well so no real harm done to staying entrenched in the 4. Good teams bounce back so the opportunity awaits to rectify next week at home.

Perth looked great last week against Subi (I know we're struggling and not up to the WP standard) but they applied pressure all day. Surely WP aren't that much better than Perth and it's more a matter of playing good footy for a while and having a bad hair day ?

Riemers was hard at it against Subi and played realy well I thought so surprised he wasn't committed today. I was impresed with Busher last week and he was in the backline for a while I thought ? Stack only turned it on for half a game last week and still got 6 of the best and was the match winner but if he does that every week you gotta be happy ??? He may be the sort of player that's only going to have a few touches here and there but a major influence on games ? Looks like Moody was shut out of it against the Cardies or was he injured ?

I wouldn't going making too many changes if I was Perth - You can't loose form from one bad game - there's still a lot of footy to go this season.
Was surprised that bottom beat top in the ressies - That doesn't happen very often

Well said. Btw. I hope it doesn't sound like I don't like the Bush as a player but some one close to him intimated that he would prefer to be playing Forward. This person could be guessing, bullshitting or misinterpreting. Go Bush.

Were you even there? I suspect not! Secondly we were equal second and not far behind on percentage. We were about 9 goals down at one stage and they were toying with us, think it was something like 13.12 to 5.7. They obviously took a breather when they knew they had the game sewn up and Stacky was able to find some space and make the scoreboard look respectable. WP haven't been going that great, their supporters weren't exactly cock-a-hoop going into the game.

FFS Swedgen you are becoming one of the sensitive ones, you haven't joined like the purple circle have you?
