According to the latest injury list on the site updated as of today it only lists Irons and Richardson as injured...Kane has come off.

This is the latest eagles injury list...looks like Smith and Butler could possibly play for us if not called up for the eagles.

As of Monday, May 20

Wellingham (ankle) 5-7 weeks
Schofield (finger) 3-4 weeks
Newman (knee) 3 weeks
Butler (calf) Test
Lycett (groin) Test
Smith (hip) Test

I hope they both don't play. It sucks having to drop blokes in form

On the ABC broadcast they said Ash Smith twinged his glute, Kane Ransted was having soft tissue injuries in the third but played out the match, Daniel O'Sullivan was concussed and Chance Bateman looked to do his hamstring. How bad the hammy is I don't know.

If Ash Smith doesn't play, Chance's Hammy doesn't come up and O'Sullivan has a concussion test and fails then we could have three forced changes for the West Perth game.

You'd say that if Nick Kane was allowed to be the runner after coming back from a hamstring injury them he must be really close to a return. You'd think that they were getting some km's into his legs and seeing how he pulls up on the Sunday/Monday.

Apart from him you'd have to think that Simon Tunbridge has to be close seeing as though he was only meant to miss a couple of weeks and hasn't played since ANZAC Day. He'd be a handy inclusion.

Others to consider would be Kieran Hug and Michael Mather who have been playing really well in the reserves.

This West Perth game is going to be hard but by no means impossible. It's up there at Arena and the Falcons are playing well. We might have a couple of injuries but as we have all seen this year there are some players in the reserves that are playing well and are knocking on the door. Here's hoping that the Demons can keep playing the way they have been so far in 2013 and it's a ripper of a game on Saturday.

Apparently Sam Butler and Mark Hutchings are on the flight to Sydney. There is no sign of Beau Waters at this stage.

We wont miss Butler because we havent had him but Hutchings is a huge out for WP and a big plus for us!

I'm told this being the abc radio broadcast match. The weather forecast is for cloudy but fine conditions and this will be a top game.
