Phil Smart was pretty strong on the subject and critical of the AFL at the same time that the draft age should be increased by at least one of not two years. He is qualified to know having been a list manager at Fremantle for many years, was the man responsible for drafting Fyfe and has now spent the last 6 years plus as football operations manager at Swans in the WAFL.

It would be handy to have Logan McDonald for another season. Can never have enough talented tall forwards.

Top 20 will get a look in razzle... and McDonald is top 20 mate as is the other Perth boy O'Driscoll and the two boys from SD. EF will get lucky with Walker and Carroll...30 - 50 range....unlucky for them thpugh

I can’t be confident that there will be no draft this year.
I have mentioned our two boys previously. Both eligible for u/18s again I believe. Perhaps will be caught in PSA setup also but would be great if we get to see a bit of them before the inevitable.
Both very talented. Logan McDonald is a big, strong lad and still growing. O’Driscoll a bit smaller.
I agree top 20 prospects for AFL draft. Can’t see WCE with much chance but Freo could get a crack at them.
