Team:
B: Yeo Franz Yu
HB: Willett Holt Williams
C: T.Taylor Murphy Foster
HB: Orzell Hamp Davies
F: Neates J.Richardson S.Edwards
R: Seaby Blackwell Ledger
INT: Abbott Aichison Bentley D.Cameron Knott Mcallister H.Roberts

Handley out for a couple with a hammy. Really need a huge lift from the majority if we're going to trouble West Perth.
Still think we're too small up forward, not convinced with Hamp. Good to see Aichison Abbott Knott Mcallister J.Richardson & H.Roberts get mentioned after strong performance in the magoos.

a forward line stacked with mid fielders and 2 medium talls, one on debut. starcevich and brooks may not have lit up the reserves last week but you gotta pick one of them just to get some height in there.
wish that Richardson was of the Ian variety!

Hats off to Broadbridge, coaching panel & players. Beat last year's premiers, this year's favourites ( of the G7) at their home ground after being pantsed the week b4.
Neates & Foster both outstanding.
If Blackwell, Murphy & Orzel could kick more goals between them they'd be more damaging.
Thought Cameron, Edwards, Knotts, Richardson & big Abbott showed why they've been picked. How's Abbott's goal Tiger of Old?
Don't reckon you'd pinch Aichison's beer if the lights went out in a bar! Hard at the ball.
Still a lot of improvement needed.Holt learnt a lesson. Should look at playing Hamp on the half back line, like Crawford. Don't think he offers the physical stuff required up forward.
Would still look at Brooks to play FF.
Said 14 won by 12........I'll take it.

My bad in not mentioning Ken "the moose" Caporn....may he rest in peace. Named in the Claremont team of the Century at fullback, players wore black arm bands in respect.

Some statements made in the Magoos....Yeo 39 touches, Yu 30 touches & Daniher 27 touches.
Remiss of me not to mention the Magoos are 2 from 2 , and the Colts are 2 from 2.
Remember there are two types of supporters....those who support Claremont & those that wish they did :woohoo:

Good win by your boys Jimmy, they showed the required ticker against a bewildering WP. I liked the way your boys were clapping when we were unveiling the flag, it was respect at its best, then you went on to dick us !!!

A really memorable win considering the crap we dished up last week, clinically coached and clinically played. We couldn't match them for run and skill considering the inexperience of the side so we turned it into a boundary line scrap, and its a scrap we won. And a big thankyou to Ken "Moose" Caporn for sending down that torrential rain in the last quarter.
Aitchison don't muck around, give him a job and he'll do it. Alongside Orzel it gives Blackwell and Murphy a lesser workload. Darcy Cameron - this bloke knows how to tap, look out when he gets more strength and a bigger engine. Bentley, Abbot, Edwards.. plenty of talented youth coming through, Abbot could go far if he can put in the hard work required.
Interesting to see what we bring against subi next week because round one and round two was like the north pole compared to the great sandy desert.
