Laurie to CHF? Big call for a bloke who's kicked 6 goals from nearly 70 games - because he's been such a quality defender. More of a coaching move for a desperate underdog situation, we're not in that situation i hope. No need to panic, we're close to full strength and need to try and play the game on our terms still. Its worked for us 90 per cent of the season.
I urge all wafl supporters of the other 6 clubs to come along this sunday to the last game at tigerland before re development. Whilst i'm sure you all hate us, and the feeling is mutual, come wander through the clubrooms, top and bottom, and get a taste of wafl history. I've done it more than once at all the other grounds and love it.
And if the last 20 years of tigers royals clashes is anything to go by you'll see one helluva game of footy.

TOO, I've been in the Claremont clubrooms and enjoyed wandering around looking at the old photos and flags on the walls. History reeking out of the place. Pity in some ways it's got to go but I'm sure the new place will be great. I will try and get there to watch the game because as you said it has the potential to be a fascinating game

Its hard to beat Basso mikeh, the picket fence is officially here to stay isn't it - wasn't it heritage listed? Although i suppose any government thing is never really official.
I'm happy with what we got but the old girl is wrinkling, especially her bottom section, and if re development can secure the clubs financial and playing future then it is a wise decision in this wafl day and age.

reckon Cl will win this game.......I think EP win over SD was blown out of proportions....SD had a poorly structured side v EP.....their lack of height was the killer in the end.....Seaby and Andrews more than match Johnson and Lycett.....their mids are similiar.....forward strength and defensive strengths similiar.....

Cl will win.......EP are good against the likes of a SD side, devoid of height..... still quite surprised SD didn't do their match ups better......it wasn't a secret that Lycett and Johnson were gonna do some damage against SD smallish defence.......well to most it wasn't a secret........Cl to win by 5 goals....
