TOPIC:

Started 13th on the grid, got off to a terrible start, slow away then caught up in the tangle between the two Alpines and shuffled back to last after they retired.

Struggled to get past Logan Sargeant until they pitted him to the mediums and ended up finishing in his starting position in 13th ahead of the two Hasses which wasn't a bad result in the end.

Piastri on the other hand got screwed over by McLaren and robbed of a podium and should have finished 2nd. Got off to a great start from second line on the grid I think to be clear second more than 2 seconds ahead of his team mate then McLaren inexplicably pit Norris first which handed him the opportunity to make the undercut and finished in second place where Piastri was before receiving priority by McLaren to pit first.

Piastri was shafted and finished 5th. If you are an Australian driving in F1 always be prepared to be screwed over. Happened with Webber, Ricciardo and now Piastri.

Piastri should know about shaftings! Going to be a while before I start lauding his efforts.

Webber and Ricciardo were each robbed of a world championship.

Could see another Aussie on the F1 grid soon. Son of a gun on two wheels Jack Doohan apparently won the Hungarian F2 grand prix on the weekend.

If you want to see a different perspective on Jack Doohan and his old man .... google their names in the Aussie Go-Kart space. Wowee!

It came up on my feed a few months ago and everyone was lacing the shit out of them. Everyone was happy to see the back of the Doohan family from Australian go-karting!
