Well done to the Cobras who were way too good for Piara on the weekend and advance straight through to the big dance. Well deserved from them being the best team all year. Unfortunately I couldn't attend any of the weekend's games due to other commitments so am relying on others for a detailed rundown. Lakes has surprised me the past month what is going on here have they a lot of FIFO or just had injuries all year? Regardless, they are hitting some very good form at the right time of the year. Well done to Roleystone on a very good season coming up into C grade and being more than competitive all year.

I really don't know who to tip this weekend as I didn't see either game Piara have beaten Lakes twice this year so will have that mental edge over them but Lakes are in some very good form, beating Noranda,Rossmoyne and Roleystone all quite comfortably in the last 3 weeks this is going to be a great game to watch. Piara have only lost to one team and are a very talented outfit though so I can't go passed them I think they'll get up by 2 goals and advance to the grandy only because of home ground advantage.

HMac lakes were very good last week on the small rollystone ground and made the most of there scoring opportunities. Rollystone just couldn’t seem to find there run as they were probably missing one of there better mids due to injury.
I expect lakes to come out and play a very attacking style of game against Piara.
What a game this is shaping up to be, the winner to face cobras in the grand final and book a ticket to c3. Piara lost there leading goal kicker in the first qtr last week with a hamstring injury.
Lakes will have both ressies and league down at Piara this weekend and if they get up we could see a good old fashioned Cockburn grand final derby.

A great game, Piara led by 3 goals going into the last but lakes were not finished yet. They had the wind on the run home and came out and kicked the 4. Piara managed to peg some back but some costly errors in front of goals cost them as lakes came home with a 9 point win.

Ressies was interesting on and off the field as a fight broke out in the crowd between the lakes and noranda supports. Lakes just too good in the end and bought home the win.

Sets us up for a massive Cockburn derby grand final.
