Ellenbrook fell out of the five with that loss to the bombers, full credit to the bombers tho as they played out of there skin in the second half and showed they are not ready for relegation yet! Piara and Gossy was a low scoring affair with lots of contests all day and there was definitely some sore bodies after. Quinn’s did enough to get the win over cobras. Kingsley let willo off the hook with that score line as willo now sitting in relegation. Kwinana had a big win as it was a special day for the club. Maybe a little drizzle of rain on sat but i been past a few grounds and they are looking very average.

 I’m more interested to see the ressies game between Gossy and willo. I’m sure willo have qualified a few handy players by now but Gossy always puts up a good fight. The league should be all one way traffic. Gossy by 7 goals 

 Things getting interesting for Kingsley now. If the win they possibly go to third and get that second chance. If the hold fourth they obviously get a home final. Watch this space with a couple rounds to go… I think they should get the job done over Belmont. Kingsley by 5 goals 

 Quinn’s at home in the muddy bull ring will fancy them selves against the banged up piara. Tough task for piara going up there and need this to stay up in the top three.Piara by 8 points 

 Ellenbrook need to find that great form they had if they want back into the five. Kwinana might lose some players to FIFO this week. This is my pick for GOTR as I can smell an upset on the table come Saturday. Ellenbrook by 3 points 

 Very important game in this one. If the cobras can sneak in a win they might actually change places with valley. The valley boys on home deck looking to finish the season strong. I’m sure the cricket pitch is in fine condition so be prepared to get down and dirty.Valley by 3 goals

After the weekend the top 5 is locked and loaded as far as I'm concerned with positions up for grabs. Eels may have a whinge at me about that but I'm here for the fans not you lot! I'm making the big calls and if it bites me in the ass you can have your say then.

Bottom 5 .... oh my lordy! Valley didn't show up, Bombers beat Eels and Willo had their chances against the Cats. Cobra's could just as high as 7th if they win this week or seal their fate and I think Willo are C3 bound myself.

Hawks Vs Blues - Willo have the toughest run home to stay out of relegation and it starts with The Hawks at Hawk stadium. The drunks will be in full swing in the can bar as Gozzie dispatch with The Blues by about 8 goals if they really get fired up.

Cats Vs Bombers - The Cats beat Willo but didn't like hitting the score board too well. Could have made it so much worse for the Willo boys and I heard a bit of sledging of the tik tok guy happened. Bombers with a nice win over The Eels which I doubt too many picked. If Kingsley play like last week they'll lose. Hit the score board and its over by half time. Cats by 4 goals

Bulls Vs Falcons - This is easily the game of the round but I'm not picking it this week. There is much more at stake for 2 other teams. Quinns 2 weeks ago raised an eye brow or 10 smashing The Knights then only just got over The Cobra's so not sure what to make of that. Falcons fell short against The Hawks and will need to find a bit more if they want to beat The Bulls at The Ring. Bulls by a goal for me.

Eels Vs Knights - If this is fly out week which I suspect it is then Knights will be primed for a beating here. Eels can sneak in to the 5 with a win over these guys but the Knights are a chance to go all the way this year and will squeeze the Eels to the tune of 4 goals.

Valley Vs Cobra's - GOTR - Not game of the round due to good footy although they could surprise but for mine, the loser gets relegated. Valley don't deserve it after playing 2 bad games all year but couldn't get the close wins done. Cobra's picked up the pace in the last couple rounds with an extra player or 2 just before the cut off. I'm going Valley at home by 3 goals.
