So here we are… half way through. We have a three way tie in the top three while the rest is of the group are separated by a game! A very even competition in C2 and loading the scores on the PFL app is a very exciting time for me come Saturday afternoon. Hopefully the top five stays wide open and comes down to the last round before it’s decided! Looking at the scores from last week, some teams were absolutely shocking in front of goal. So let’s hope for a better week looking like some good conditions so no excuses!

Quinn’s were very lucky last week and definitely used there “get out of jail free card” with that score line. Ellenbrook are up and coming have had some good consistency. Quinn’s had a massive 6 goal win round 1 but I think this will be a lot closer.Quinn’s at home by 2 goals

Valley pulling of a miracle last week and now travel to the apparently second best ground in the ammo league ( I see Baldivis was voted the best in the paper during the week). Gossy should of punished Quinn’s last week but let them off the hook and things aren’t looking good for the valley boys this week as a couple of huge milestone games for some well respected players at the club. I expect the patio roof to blow off with the noise the crowd will make on Saturday.Gossy by 5 goals

Cobras unfortunately looking down the barrel of the gun at the moment. Started round one with a bang and impressive win of willo but I think willo has done some deep soul searching since then and are now a better side.Willo by 7 goals

GOTR.. only 8 points separated these two in round one. Kwinana keeps finding away to win and Belmont have not been disgraceful. I’m expecting the bombers to be hard and physical  in this match after the spray they received week.Belmont by 3 points

Piara maybe a little soft and started slow last week. Probably got the wake up call they deserved to not get too far ahead of themselves. Kingsley absolutely kicked themselves out of the game last week and I’m sure they have spent some time in front of goals at training. Piara got the job done in round one and I think will get it done again.Piara by 17 points

 Good luck everyone

Not sure if this is as good or better than B grade last year. We shall see by years end but you cannot afford to be off or you'll get rolled this year.

Bulls Vs Eels - Bulls with a bit of shaky run the last couple weeks and Eels finding some rhythm. Would not surprise me if the cruiser drinking yobbo's get the job done up at The Bull Ring. I'm going to tip Eels by 8 points in a not so surprising upset.

Hawks Vs Valley - No miracle KTB, after watching The Falcons the week before and Valley being in every game bar 1 so far this year the writing was on the wall. This for me is GOTR and I'd like to be there to spray up my Hawk mates like Disco and Whitey but I can't be there and tipping Valley who play well at Gozzie with a big win there last year as well.

Cobra's Vs Blues - Unfortunately for the Cobra's I think they are on their way back to C3. I'm thinking a few injuries and the higher you go the more depth you need. Some of these teams have been building in C2 for few years and they'll know what is required. They might sneak a win or 2 here and there but i'm tipping the relegation for them. Blues here by 5 goals

Kwinana Vs Bombers - This is going to be another ripper with both teams going well. Knights always play finals but haven't been able to quite make the big dance. Could this be their year? Bombers a bit shaky early but finding their feet quite well and will push the Knights here but i think lack a bit of fire power to take the win. Knights by 2 goals.

Falcons Vs Cats - Third game to be a ripper this weekend. Falcons haven't been great the last couple weeks and Cats are up and down a bit but still sitting in the 5 and need this to stay there. Piara could drop to 4th with a loss here and need to find some form. Cats for me by 3 goals.

good luck all and enjoy the frothies!

Condolences to the Belmont FC on the passing of one of their Premiership players from last year.

Onto the footy, it will be the first time up to the Bullring in a while for me, hoping the Eels come away with the win.

Gosnells over the Valley down there

Willetton to make a statement with a BIG win over the Cobras

it’s difficult to imagine how the players will be feeling at the Bombers and they’ll have to travel down to Kwinana.  I think the Knights will get up.

A tough one to pick when it’s 2 v 4, will go with Kingsley today.

and the hits just keep on coming ..... 5/5 one week to 1/5

Bulls by just 4 over The Eels, Hawks by 25 over The Valley, Cobra's by 33 over The Blues (no one saw that coming), Knights by 29 over Bombers and Falcons by 28 over The Cats.

The bombers lads did well to even get on the park on the weekend after their tragic accident i learnt about. Losing a young premiership player. condolences to Flav and everyone at the club.
