Hope everyone is fresh from the week off! I know a few of the Valley crew did a wine tour to relax on what turned out to be a beautiful day. Eels boys would have had a few cruisers to enjoy their day off. Kwinana lads with a few car chases. Would have been a great weekend off!

C2 is without a doubt the place to be this year. 2 games separates 2nd to 9th with Piara sitting on top and Cobra's 4 games behind holding up the other end. Anywhere in between is up for grabs and the second half of the year is going to be awesome to watch!

Hawks Vs Bulls - Nearly every game could be GOTR this week but i'm picking this one. WTF is going on with a 1.45 start for league? Anyway Hawks are flying but the Bulls got their horns clipped by Valley last game so not sure how this one will pan out. Hawks at home surely has to be the pick .... 18 points.

Cats Vs Knights - Another ripping game to separate the middle of the table and I think the Knights can't win a game so I go against them and they surprise me .... Cats were going ok but have dropped a few winnable games. I'm going to tip the Knights and I bet they screw me over! 9 points

Eels Vs Cobra's - Eels played a good brand of footy against Piara. They had a small forward that clunked 3-4 great marks and then proceeded to miss every shot which would have easily have won them the game against The Falcons. Cobra's need some wins or they'll be in bad territory soon. I'm going Eels by 5 goals.

Valley Vs Falcons - These 2 have had some great games over the years and this will be no exception. Valley just taking a win here and there haven't reached any great heights but the ladder leaders always find a way to get the job done so far. Valley at home by 8 points

Blues Vs Bombers - Blues showed some early signs but have fallen back to the pack pretty hard. Bombers with some nice wins will be happy with their halfway point and knowing they are capable at this level albeit a few players short of a flag. Blues at home by 5 goals

good luck all and enjoy the frothies

Great write up to kick start us off viper. Did you manage to get out and do some wine tasting yourself??C2 is indeed the topic of the town, a few blokes that I work with that play A and B grade even want all the goss! Iv noticed a certain “Mr M” has gone missing from the A grade forum so c2 is about the only good news you can read about now. The wet weather looks to be settling in so look out for a few duck pond grounds around the comp.

Yeh I agree with GOTR.. bulls slightly dropped off a bit and the Gossy boys let that one slip before the bye. I’m guessing an early start time to allow their women’s side play under lights. Should be a big crowd down at gossy oval to help cheer them over the line.Gossy by 4 goals

Last years Prelim Final rematch, Ellenbrook led all day for the cobras came home strong in the last quarter!…. Looking forward to another exciting game between these two sides. A win for cobras takes them off the bottom and a win for Ellenbrook just gives them still that little bit of light at the end of the tunnel.Cobras by 2 points

Kwinana needed that win before the bye, and to gain some confidence back. Massive game for Kingsley as win will put a four point gap between them and next place on the ladder. Have to go with the Kats home ground advantage tho. Kingsley by 2 goals

Piara are now ladder leaders and travel out to the valley to hold that spot. Valley claimed a big win before the bye while piara did it ugly over the eels. Piara looks to get few back this week and should get the job done.Piara by 5 goals

Another game that was close for GOTR. A must win game for both Belmont and willo. Belmont are just sitting outside the five while willo are also knocking on the door. You would think willo at home but I’m feeling an upset is on the cards. Belmont by 10 points

 Good luck everyone

Congrats on the milestone Viper, the cruiser drinker also has one with his 150th game as coach.

A few juicy match ups this weeks but I think I’ll go

Hawks at home
Kingsley too good
Eels
Piara to have their own wine tour after the win
Willo at home.
