What a week in footy. Spot on Viper… C2 is were all the talk and action is at. From last week let’s look at Piara Waters, wow what a massive statement win and definitely sending a message to the rest of the comp. Quinn’s just got out of jail that the Piara boys were not so accurate. Full credit to the coaches for rolling the dice and giving some of the young guys a crack. Cobras only managed one goal to the valleys 3 in the last quarter for a come from behind win for the valley. This was a big surprise for me and I’m sure a lot of others, but Belmont upset win over Kingsley. All aboard the Ellenbrook train… a few wins on the track and that brings them off the bottom and making a race up the ladder. I hope this loss doesn’t come back to bite Kwinana in the backside. A hard fought back and forth tug of war match seen Gossy get up against willo in a nail biter.

Valley travel out to the bull ring and the raging bulls will be seeing red after last weeks efforts. They will come back hard and unfortunately the valley boys are about to be in the firing line.Quinn’s by 10 goals

it’s not looking good for the cobras, they couldn’t hold on last week and now face Kingsley. Kingsley got a bit bullied last week and from what I heard they were a little intimidated by the hardness. If cobra’s bring that they can keep themselves right in it.Kingsley by 6 goals

GOTR… I can see this game going pear shaped really quickly and these two absolutely bashing the suitcases out of each other. Both are hard at the ball and not to back down or away. Keep your eyes on Gossy and Belmont come Saturday afternoon.Gossy by 15 points

Kwinana can’t afford to let anymore close games slip like that otherwise they will be in big trouble real quick. Willo just hovering outside the five and a win will give hope and a glance in.Willo by 7 points

Piara have found there missing links with a handful of these young kids and they are exiting to watch. They like to take the game on and have not backed down to a few bigger body sides. Ellenbrook have got things up and running, a second week on the road and while last weeks efforts were impressive unfortunately I don’t think they can win this one. Piara by 4 goals

 Good luck everyone

C2 has been an incredible comp to follow. Most of the games are really close and very hard to tip so Im keen to get involved.

Qunnis will be looking to bounce back after only kicking 3 goals against piara last week and they are a 5 goal better side on there ground. Valley havent had a great start to the season but defintly a team you can't write off. Quinns by 5 goals.

Kingsley are having a much better season and would be dominating if they went down to c3. good on them for staying up for a greater challenge in c2. cobras started the season strong but have been struck with injuries. kingsley by 4 goals

Gosnells travelling along niceley at the top of the ladder but belmont very hard to beat at home. i'm tipping an upset here, belmont by 1 point.

Kwinana let one slip last week against the improving Ellenbrook and Willetton have been pretty inconsistent all year. this one could go either way but I'm tipping kwinana to bounce back and win by a goal at home

Piara waters had a shaky start to the year but are now travelling nicely and sit 2nd by percentage. Ellenbrook have improved over the last few weeks and will take it right up to the falcons but just fall short. piara by 3 goals

After receiving a rather abusive text for my lack of write up I'll ensure I copy my post so if it times out I can still get it on here. Great to see I have a fan base that care when I don't write up each week. That brings the total to 1. It's a start at least!

Welcome aboard the C2 train HMac ... you'll surely be a lot better to have around here than Whitey who just tips and contributes nothing to the chat. Probably due to being not very funny with all the head knocks he gets that umpires don't pay.

Bulls Vs Valley - Valley finally got their 2nd win after being so close each week. Bulls losing was just a jaw drop moment when I read the results. Some injuries maybe? Valley have a great record in recent years at the Bull Ring including an upset 2 years ago when sitting in 8th and Quinns up top and beat them in terrible conditions and low and behold we have rain this weekend. Could this be another upset on the cards? I'm tipping yes as Valley finally get their year going. 4 points.

Cats Vs Cobra's - Cobra's have had a rough trot for a few weeks now and need to etch a win out but I'm not sure it'll be against the purring pussy cats who are traveling along nicely at the moment even after losing last weekend. Cats won't drop this one and by 5 goals.

Hawks Vs Bombers - Bombers, bombers. BOMBERS!!!! Where did that come from? Great job and now you get a chance at another big scalp in the high flying hawks but the Hawks are delicious at the moment and won't drop this one. 4 goals

Knights Vs Blues - GOTR - My game of the round this week and 100% chance of a police chase through suburban Kwinana as well to make it a glorious day! Blues lost to the Hawks by 5 points on the weekend and Knights by 2 points to The Eels. Blues could find themselves in the 5 if they get this done and not a bad spot to be in heading in to the bye. Knights sitting pretty in 4th will be banking on keeping their spot in tact but I'm tipping the Blues here. No reason as to why .... 8 points.

Falcons Vs Eels - Seeing as I am in Baldivis in the morning I'm going to stop in and watch this game on my way home and see what is in the water in Piara. Up and down start they are flying at the moment! Not sure if the Eels have ever played here before but take your wind coats as it blows like a bitch in the arvo's every time I've been there. It's like the sea breeze from 6 weeks ago arrives on a Saturday afternoon. Eels with a couple scalps in recent weeks are now finding their feet but I expect Falcons to win and by 4 points.

Good luck and enjoy the frothies!

Hopefully you get a few new jokes from The Suburban Footballer tonight Viper, you need them. I’m pretty sure I know where the text came from but don’t worry, he’s not a fan - consider it hate mail.

Quinn’s up at the Bull Ring over Valley. They look to be a much better team when everyone else is doing the driving and the guys in green haven’t hit their straps yet.

Based on results it would be  hard to tip against Kingsley who seem to be travelling nicely. Haven’t seen the Cobras this season yet so will just go off ladder positions.

Big win for Belmont last week but can’’t see it happening this week - Gosnells looking like the early flag favourites so will have to pick them to win.

Willetton, watch out for the 💉in the public toilets close to the away change rooms, we had to keep the kids away from them on Sat.  The Blues need the win to get back into the 5 but I think the Knights will bounce back.

We’ve played a lot of games on the Auskick oval over the years, the wind definitely does blow into the far pocket to the left of screen for most of the day.  Pairs up and about but hopefully the Eels can get the win here & Viper can join the league coach for a cruiser after the game.

Nice to see you get on board Whitey .... we didn't have needles but had a baggie in our change rooms against Armadale lol.

BOOM! Another ripping week in C2. Valley knocked off The Bulls by 36 points, Cats beat the Cobra's by 4 solitary points, Bombers over Hawks by 2 goals (total score of 10.24, pretty windy in Belmont??), Knights over The Blues by 9 points and Falcons beat the Eels by 11 points.

3/5 for me and there is just 4 games separating the entire ladder.

Enjoy the week off

an early morning down poor must of seen a few grounds get nice and moist!!Cheers Viper… did you manage to get to the Piara game? I personally thought Piara should have got up by more but Ellenbrook starting to show they are the real deal. The valley went BANG, started off strong and was able to keep momentum throughout the game. The cobras tried to chase down Kingsley but fell short. Bombers by two goals over Gossy in maybe the upset for the season, plenty of scoring opportunities by both sides and I heard a few words exchanged by both sides after the game also! It was a must win game on the line for Kwinana and that stepped it up big time when needed, close all game and all tied up going into the last quarter the knights managed to hold on.

Cheers everyone, enjoy the long weekend break.

I did see Viper & the lovely Mrs Viper at the game, I had to leave at 3/4 time so he would have seen more of it than I did in the end.

hey KTB,

In my opinion Ellenbrook should have won that game. A couple undisciplined acts cost them a couple goals and they had at least 3 shots on goal from 20M or less and missed.

Piara used their get out of jail card in that game.
