TOPIC:

Let me start with the Piara v Gossy game. Now I ventured out to one of the greatest ground in amateur football, (by the way have Gossy made there ground smaller?)So the match started and within the first 5 seconds I’m not sure what for as the whole crowd was confused but a free kick and a 50 metre penalty (that was actually 30) was paid to Piara as they got there first on the board. From there Piara led most of the day with Gossy always staying in touch. Credit to the umpires as they kept the game under control and weren’t afraid to get some cards out. Headland for Gossy was sensational, his pace run and carry was helping Gossy break the lines and kept them in touch. When he went off with concussion I thought they lost that bit of flair. Piara had control until halfway through the last quarter when gossy got a quick couple and pinched the lead. Probably could’ve gone on to win it but there forwards just not smart enough and turned the ball over with silly hands in the back free kicks. About 2mins to go the Piara coach got loose out on the wing had a couple of bounces with a chance to win it his kick came off the side of his boot and went out of bounds, the ball came back inwards and a quick snap by a Piara player seen them take back the lead. Back in the centre Piara won the ball but quickly recovered by gossy, comes out to the wing were Pescod took a sensational mark that got every one out of there seats…. Unfortunately his kick needed to be low and hard and it did the opposite. Nearly could have won the game but the high ball took those few extra seconds off the clock and the siren went. Great game by both sides.

Piara v Quinn’s, 1 v 3. GOTR. Quinn’s moved to top and piara need to back up last weeks efforts. I don’t think the travel will bother the bulls to much but the Piara boys will surely be up and about after last week.Piara by 9 points 

 Cobras host the valley boys and last week we seen the first forfeit in the cobras ressies. I hope this was a once off and not a regular occurrence. If the valley can put together a four quarter effort they can get the win.Valley by 4 goals 

 Well I picked it last week and the cats are on the rise. Led by ex eagle in Fisher, this guy just runs all day and if you can stop him the that puts a small dent to there engine room. Belmont below par last week and need to lift of this will get ugly for them.Kingsley by 5 goals 

 The eels came out of nowhere last week and have now put two in a row on the board. Kwinana had a solid last quarter effort last week against the valley and will not want to take this game lightly.Kwinana by 19 points 

 This was close for GOTR.. willo and gossy had been in good form until both had losses last week. Same again with both not making there chances in the last quarter but the question is who will bounce back and get that win back under their belt.Gossy by 4 goals

I did a write up but as it was taking so long to write while working it timed out ....

I had Bulls, Valley, Cats, Knights and Hawks

When I opened the scores I could not believe my eyes ..... Falcons demolished The Bulls and it should have been by a shit load more too! 31 points kicking 7.11! Valley by 7 points over Cobra's to get their second win, Bombers by 10 points over Cats (WOWEE), Eels over Knights by 2 points (far out) and Hawks by 5 points over Blues!
