Just like that sports fans we're 3 games in and heading to the halfway point of our first round. A couple of surprises so far with Quinns the big risers from last year and The Eels without a win is a surprise but they have had to play 2 finalists from last year and an up and about Quinns so not the easiest draw to start but they'll get moving shortly.

Hows the Kingsley win over The Valley on the weekend? Last year Valley nearly lost the same game and this year they got touched up. A sign of things to come for Kingsley or just one of those football days for Valley?

On to this weeks' games!

Hawks Vs Cobra's - The Hawks are flying at the moment and back home against The Cobra's this week who are 2-1. They have fitted in well to C2 life and will certainly be competitive enough. Gosnells are the team to beat early on and will get the job done here by about 5 goals.

Bulls Vs Bombers - Flavs boys have had an ok start and this week have to take on the rampaging Bulls who are definitely playing better football than last year. The Bombers will get their first taste of the Bull Ring and realise just how fkn far it is to Quinns! It's a long trek home when you lose too and I can't see Quinns dropping this one. 4 goals

Valley Vs Blues - MOTR - My pick for match of the round. Both teams have showed some promise in the first 3 games with Valley pushing Gosnells but dropping to Kingsley and The Blues have won their last 2. It'll be a big day at The Valley with the ANZAC ceremony before the league game. Valley boys can't afford to drop this one or they'll start to see a hard gap to close later on. Valley by 8 points

Falcons Vs Knights - Falcons with an up and down start to the year and The Knights will be happy with their start only losing to Gosnells. She blows a gale out at Piara and some teams really do struggle to come to grips with it. It always gives the Falcons a handy advantage but its hard to go past The Knights at the moment who have only lost to Gosnells. Knights by 3 goals

Eels Vs Cats - What a win by The Cats on the weekend and now they face another team from the East in The Eels who have been more than competitive but just haven't gotten a win yet. The Eels will be desperate to put one on the board to help with the confidence. Cats are purring after their big win and will love another scalp to ensure they keep away from the bottom 2. They got lucky last year and won't want to risk relegation again. I'm going to tip The Cats by 3 points.

Good luck all and enjoy the frothies!

Well lucky Kingsley couldn’t kick straight or that score line against Valley would have been a lot worse. Belmont pinch one as Piara tried to claw there way back but unfortunately couldn’t get there. Willo took another massive step forward overcoming Quinn’s. Gossy coming along nicely at the moment and took care of the eels. The cobras were no match for Kwinana.

The bombers will take their confidence up the freeway this week to the bull ring after their first win last week. Not the result Quinn’s were expecting last week and will surely fancy themselves at home.Quinn’s by 6 goals

Not the best game for the cobras last week and probably not a true reflection of who the are! Couldn’t get there running game going but will have a chance out at big Gossy oval. Gossy playing some really nice football at the moment lead by there captain who is also having a great start to the season.Gossy by 5 goals

Valley will try to get one back and try to put a stop to the blue boys run. Some of the new willo boys finding there feet in the side and things are coming together.Willo by 20 points

Piara really have dropped the ball and there injuries don’t make it better. Kwinana will be out with force and I won’t be surprised if this is a complete blow out.Kwinana by 8 goals

Eels really getting a taste of c2 footy now, have been good but not good enough! If they can put together a solid four quarter effort against Kingsley they might match it with them. A bit of a late game under lights I believe for the eels will have the crowd in full force behind them. Kingsley by 2 goals

 Good luck everyone
