WOWEEEEEE!!!
A very big few weeks in the C1 competition with some major upsets, a few more draws and some controversial incidents.
Apologies for my absences of weekly predications and inputs but with a few weeks left to go I am back.
Firstly to the captain of Carlisle. There's a line when it comes to what is acceptable on a football field. I am all for the rough and tumble nature of amatuer football and sticking up for your team by flying the flag. But your use of your rather large noggin to headbutt your opponent really speaks out about the character of a very fragile individual. The carry on from your coaching staff, players and supporters really does allow us to see the Carlisle football club for what they really are. Although the yellow card was a very average call by the umpires the 2 red cards are a blight on a very strong competition in C1 .
Secondly, to the Gronk from High Wycombe, enjoy your well-deserved holiday. IMO should never be allowed to register to play football in our great nation ever again.
Thirdly my predictions for this week.
MELVILLE VS BRENTWOOD BOORAGOON: MOTR
This game is going to be an absolute cracker with 2 of the most consistent teams vying off for second place on the ladder and the double chance come finals time. With the home ground advantage Melville should be able to topple BB to secure second spot with a 4 goal win.
JANDAKOT VS BALLAJURA:
Not even a question here to be had here, Jandakot simply just don't have the firepower to contend with the high scoring Balla.
10 goal win to Ballajura.
SWAN ATH VS THORNLIE:
This could be a very interesting battle here, coming off a very big high the Thornlie boys will feel ready to topple the Winery lads in the biggest upset of the year. Whilst I don't know how realistic their chances of winning are I would love to see a good battle this weekend
Hopefully Thornlie snag a win by 2 goals.
CARLISLE VS HIGH WYCOMBE
Hopefully High Wycombe can regain some of the star talent missing from the major loss to Thornlie. With some possible suspensions coming Carlisle's way from 2 red cards, I would love to see the dogs get up here with a major upset to push Carlisle closer to a potential relegation to C2.
